Copyright to the documents submitted to ANGAN, including speaking notes/ presentations/ concept notes, etc. is hereby transferred to the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India for publication in the proceedings/ compendium of the conference/ exhibition. The said proceedings/ compendium may be published in hard/ soft copy, including on the website of the conference/ exhibition.
The speakers/ exhibitors hereby grant to BEE all rights in and to the materials specified above. The rights granted include the right to edit, publish, reproduce and distribute all or any part of the work in any and all forms of media, now or hereafter known, including digital media.
The speakers/ exhibitors warrant that:
- The material contains no matter unlawful in content or in violation of the rights of any third party, and that the speakers/ exhibitors have the power to grant copyright to BEE.
- They have obtained written permission to use any previously copyrighted material included in the submitted documents.
- BEE as copyright owner has the authority to grant permission to reproduce the documents or the information contained therein.
NOTE:
- Applicability of this agreement is limited to the documents submitted by speakers/ exhibitors to ANGAN, and does not extend to the proprietary rights such as patent or trademark rights. Further, speakers/ exhibitors shall have the right to reuse any portion of the work, without fee, in any future works of theirs, in any and all forms of media.
- Work made for hire: If you are an employee and your submissions were prepared as a part of your job, the copyright to the submissions belongs to your employer. If you as speaker/ exhibitor accept the copyright transfer agreement, BEE assumes that you are authorized by your employer to do so and that your employer has consented to all the terms and conditions of this agreement. If not, it should be accepted by someone so authorized.
